@brettroberts true - just saying it looks like many attending MSTechEd are there for diff reasons to those @drupalsouth or, say, @kiwipycon.

• access to the venue and talks
• catered lunch on both days
• drinks on Saturday night

From the airport to the city, shuttles cost about $20, taxi's are around $40, and the Flyer (Metro bus) is $5.
